We Care is a response to the needs of the less fortunate.
Together, we can make a difference.
Since 2020, the numbers of destitute people and abandoned animals have increased significantly in South Africa. The challenge is an ever-growing one and community organisations that care for the less fortunate, need us all to help.
Glacier We Care is a response to people and animals in need. We assist the champions in community organisations who make a positive impact in people’s lives and who care for animals that have been abandoned or abused.
We Care is a Glacier initiative that provides an online platform for caring individuals like you. Perhaps you want to help financially, but you don’t know where to start or which organisation to donate to.
We’ve made it easy for you: You decide on the organisation you would like to support, how much you would like to donate, and how you would like your donation to be spent.
For as little as R50, you can make a difference, and Glacier We Care provides the platform to do that.
To enable as many organisations as possible to benefit from this initiative, we will be profiling new ones, periodically.
Door of Hope, literally, receives abandoned children on their doorstep – or more accurately, in a hole in their wall. Part of their mission is to save abandoned children and bring them to a safe, loving home.
Children placed in Hannah’s Place of Safety are ensured of a warm, loving home where the dedicated staff work tirelessly to nurture them physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Villa of Hope provides superior care to orphaned children or those who require protection and care due to abuse, neglect and abandonment.
PACT was established to provide dedicated care and medical treatment for abandoned, stray, neglected and abused animals.
We have partnered with PayFast, an online payment platform, so that the money you donate reaches the organisation you choose instantly, safely and securely.
